South Pacific Calling
The Apostle Paul has a vision of a man from Macedonia calling, “Come over and help us.” In doing so the Gospel went to the west instead of going east.
Because of the wonderful opportunities and great blessings we have enjoyed in our outreaches into the South Pacific, other places are now calling us to come as well. It is so exciting to see their enthusiasm. Recently Mick Cory and I meet with our Brother Len from Suva and he told us of two Islands that are crying out for the Gospel to be proclaimed. As well as that, we are praying for the Solomon Islands and perhaps Samoa.
To reach these places effectively we have to plan and prepare well. Even our Lord sent out the disciples two by two, to prepare for His coming. Preparation is the key to this success. We must do the advance work, like flights to meet with local leaders, looking at sites and venues and arrange deposits to ensure everything will be available when needed.
We also want to hire buses to bring people from distant places. This has proven so successful in the past.

Wonderful weekend at Newcastle
The Newcastle Baptist Tabernacle is one of my favourite churches. It was a real honour to be asked to be the speaker for their 164 year celebration.
The music was incredible with the local musicians, as well as a men’s trio, the Southern Cross Vocal Band from Sydney.
I encouraged the church to “Go Forward” from Exodus 14:15.
Sunday morning and afternoon were both great times of worship.
