If I were to write another book at the moment, I would call it “CONVERGENCE”. Everywhere we look in our world right now there are immense problems and flashpoints. No wonder, as one of our newspapers has said recently, one of the biggest problems we have in Australia is anxiety. Worry is affecting so many, especially our youth. Russia and the Ukraine (in cities where we preached in, some years ago), China and Taiwan (Taiwan have 200,000 troops in reserve) expecting invasion, not if, but when. Israel and Gaza are constantly dominating the headlines. No wonder many are concerned.
Yet with all these problems, we have real answers. The world feels hopeless, yet we are full of hope. The world is hoping for the best, but Jesus Christ is still the world’s best hope. The one and only answer is the Gospel. Please stand with us in 2024, holding the rope to enable us to proclaim the Good News when all they hear is bad news.
Proclaiming Good News to the South Pacific
2024 is filling with some wonderful opportunities to take the Gospel to Fiji and the Solomon Islands in the South Pacific. We are so encouraged to see the enthusiasm of the teams working so hard right now in preparing for the “Come Together Celebrations” in Labasa and Suva in Fiji as well as Honiara in the Solomon Islands.
We have enclosed two brochures for you. One for yourself and one to share with a friend, your church or home group.
If you can use more, please let us know. Tony Willis and Mick Cory are doing such a great job with the advance work right now, and the teams in Fiji and the Solomons are so enthusiastically preparing as well.
The more prayer and support we can raise, the more impact we can make on these South Pacific Nations. Please encourage us with your support. It would mean so much.
